Stop Proposed Veterinary Sales Tax in ConnecticutIn support of the Connecticut Veterinary Medical Association (CVMA) and working families throughout the state, we are raising awareness of a new sales tax that is being proposed in the state legislature: a tax of 6.35% on ALL veterinary services in Connecticut.

This sales tax will impact affordability of veterinary services and pet health care to financially challenged families, negatively impact the health of our pet population, and could potentially create public health risks due to the added expense of routine veterinary care.

You can help us stop this sales tax with three easy steps:

  1. Identify your state representative.
  2. Download CVMA's client letter.
  3. Sign the letter and mail it out to your state reps.

Keeping veterinary care affordable is very important to us, so we greatly appreciate your support. Please call us at (203) 322-0507 if you have any questions.

Thank you!
